Daddy Freeze joins podcast trend, defends longtime presence

Renowned media personality Daddy Freeze has ventured into the thriving podcast realm, joining the ranks of Nedu, Toke Makinwa, Phyna, and Teju Babyface.

The podcast scene, now a lucrative domain, has seen continuous buzz with these notable personalities.

Daddy Freeze, known for his controversial takes, recently teased fans with a snippet of his interview with Reekado Banks, delving into the heated topic of his fallout with Wizkid. 

A fan commended his podcast debut, stating, "Like play like play, Daddy Freeze don start him own podcast oo. Way to go, sir."

However, Daddy Freeze took to his Instagram page to set the record straight, addressing the fan and others who assumed he was a newcomer to the podcast scene.

Providing evidence of his interview sessions dating back to 2019, he asserted, "For those of you who said I just started podcasts, can you take a look at the date on this one? None of your popular podcasters had started podcasts in 2019???". 

Daddy Freeze who according to him has been a podcast trailblazer for over five years, emphasized that he's not following anyone's footsteps.
