Dangote Group Joins Project Management Institute (PMI)

 

Dangote Group becomes the first African business formally initiated into the Global Executive Council of the Project Management Institute (PMI).

The Group said in a statement on Sunday that the company has joined the global business organisations such as AB Volvo, Airbus, Ali Baba Group, Bank of England, BHP, Amazon, ABB, Boeing and Bosch Group in the PMI council

Executive Director, Capital Projects, Mr Devakumar Edwin, speaking on behalf of the group said that the induction is a remarkable demonstration that Dangote group is a value-adding company. 

Project Management Institute (PMI) is the world's leading association for those who consider the project, program or portfolio management their profession.

With 50 years of work on project management advocacy, the council has 500,000 members and over 1,500,000 certification holders all of which have worked with several multinational companies
