Alhaji Aliko Dangote
Africa's richest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote is presently meeting with Kano state Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf at the government house in Kano.
The industrialist and President Dangote Conglomerate, who landed his country home at about 11am arrived Government house few minutes later where he was received by Chief of Staff to the Governor, Alhaji Shehu Sagagi and other top government officials.
Although there is no official statement as to why the visit, this could be connected to the current inflation and sufferings in Kano.
The harsh economic reality has led to peaceful protests on Thursday along Rijiyar lemo, to Bachirawa and today Friday where some Kano residents are protesting at the State Anti corruption agency.
Governor Yusuf particularly pleaded on super rich in the country especially those of Kano indigene to intervene to ease the suffering of the masses in Kano.
