Dangote Refinery: Shettima Assures Of Government's Support

Vice President-Elect, Kashim Shettima says the incoming administration will do anything possible to keep and sustain tempo of the inaugurated Dangote refinery.

Shettima gave the pledge at the inauguration ceremony of the Dangote refinery at Ibeju-Lekki in Lagos on Monday.

Visibly happy, Shattima said the refinery is a milestone and that Dangote would help boost the nation's revenue and safe the economy from collapse.

He then urged other businessmen and entrepreneurs in the country to imitate Dangote in the aspect of establishing projects that will be beneficial to the host community and the nation at large.

The Vice President-Elect acknowledged Lagos state government and it's people for creating an enabling environment which produced today’s refinery.

“This project commenced in 2017 when President Muhammadu Buhari was at the helm of affairs of this great nation and was completed under his stewardship,” he added.

Shettima further noted that Africa is not all about the crisis in Sudan, deprivation and destitute or insecurity. 

"I hope the CNN, BBC and Sky News of will be around to give maximum coverage to this function for global record."
