Dangote Sugar Records N82 Billion Profit

For the financial year that ended on December 31, 2022, Dangote Sugar Refinery recorded a profit before tax of N82.30 billion which reflects an increase of 141.9 per cent.

The company disclosed this in a statement filed to the Nigerian Exchange Limited on Thursday.

According to the statement, the profit before tax rose to N82.30 billion from N34.02 billion in the prior period.

Similarly, profit after tax jumped to N54.74 billion from N22.05 billion, the company further declared.

The company’s revenue recorded a growth of 46 per cent to N403.25 billion from N276.05 billion the previous year.

The company's growth in revenue also led to 147.8 per cent increase in earnings per share.
