Daniel Craig Inks Deal With Netflix To Become World's Highest Paid Actor

James Bond star Daniel Craig is now officially the highest-paid movie star on the planet, thanks to a new deal with streaming giant Netflix.

Nairametrics reports that Craig, 53, signed the deal with Netflix to star in two sequels of the critically-acclaimed mystery film Knives Out.

According to the report, the English actor will be paid a whopping $100 million for his involvement in the upcoming projects, taking him past Dwayne Johnson who held the title of the highest-paid movie star in the world.

Craig's latest Bond film No Time to Die has suffered incessant delays but is now scheduled to arrive in cinemas around the globe on September 30.

The actor recently voiced his disapproval of parents leaving an inheritance for their children, saying that he found it 'distasteful' and would not indulge in it.

Craig is married to actress Rachel Weisz with whom he shares a daughter (born in September 2018). He has another daughter from a previous marriage and she also has a son with another man.
