Some Nigerian celebrities such as Davido, Adekunle Gold, and others have reacted after Babatunde Fashola, minister of works and housing, found a camera at Lekki tollgate, Lagos state where soldiers opened gunfire on #EndSars protesters.
AllNews earlier reported that the protesters at the Lekki tollgate came under heavy gunfire on Tuesday, October 20, shortly after the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced a 24-hour curfew.
Although there are controversies surrounding the casualty figures, reports say some died, many were injured as others fled for their lives upon the gunfire, after soldiers arrived at the protest ground around 6:30 pm.
On Sunday, ministers and governors from the south-west visited the scene and fasola discovered the camera which he said must have been planted by “some subversive elements”.
Picking up the device with a handkerchief and handing it over to Sanwo-Olu, the minister said “I think this will help with the ongoing investigations into the shootings at the Lekki Toll Gate. It requires forensic analysis and could be used in the investigations to unravel the mystery surrounding the shootings at the Toll Gate, I believe.”
Reacting, Daddy Freeze and others took to their social media pages to express their feelings on the discovery. see their posts below
