Davido is filled with joy as he has been chosen as one of the deserving recipients of a prestigious Nigerian national honour by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The accomplished musician has been awarded the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON), alongside 19 other individuals.
According to the list Davido shared on his Instagram story, his name holds the fifth position on the list of OON recipients.
Other names on the list include famous Nollywood heavyweight Kunle Afolayan and Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to Buhari, Garba Shehu.
The Order of the Niger (OON) is Nigeria's second-highest civilian national honour, recognizing individuals who have made remarkable contributions in various fields and have positively impacted the nation through their excellence and innovation.
