Davido Speaks On 'Timeless' Album, Marriage To Chioma [Video]

Singer Davido has spoken out about his upcoming 'Timeless' album and his marriage to Chioma.

In his first interview since leaving the spotlight, the singer discussed his marriage to Chioma Rowland, the musical work, his difficult times, and his future plans.

The exclusive interview, conducted by Kiekie, also saw him talk about music generally, his label DMW, his talented new signees, and his upcoming concert.

For the first time since his wedding, Davido proudly announced to the world that he is married.

The singer reportedly performed his traditional marriage rites with Chioma on Thursday, January 5, 2023.

Davido also revealed that he spent the time reflecting on his family, remaking his album, and thinking.

Regarding his future plans, Davido stated that he is ready to get back on the road, hit the stage, and go on tours.

"Just being away, I have had a lot to think about, time to rest, reflect on a lot of family time, and definitely a time to make music again and remade the album.

"Before I went on break, I actually had an album ready.

"I had a tour ready but u know we did the album, I travelled, it was crazy. 

"I am married. A lot of different things but we’re ready to get back on the road, tour", he dished.

When Kiekie inquired whether he missed his fans, lovers, and well-wishers, Davido responded: "Definitely, I have never taken these kinds of breaks."
