Davido The Ronaldo In 'La La' Music Video Ft CKay

DMW boss Davido has reinforced his love for the football world with the release of the official music video of his single 'La La' off his sophomore album 'A Better Time' featuring record producer and singer, CKay.

La La video showed the creative side of Davido, who is not scared to go all out by trying new things.
The football-themed video, which was shot in a stadium, featured a football match between DMW and Boyfriend FC. Photos of the match had gone viral a few weeks.

The featured players are several Nigerian stars including Mayorkun, Zlatan Ibile, Dremo, Adekunle Gold, Jinmi Abduls, Laycon, Sydney Talker, Kiddwaya amongst others.

In 15 hours of its premiere on YouTube, the video has garnered over 500k views.

DMW FC, which had Davido as its captain, featured the 'Jowo' crooner donning on the famous jersey number seven which is popularly associated with football legend, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Davido has been a fan of Ronaldo for a long time and this is evident in the mentioning of the footballer's name in some of his songs including, Aye and Fall.

The DMW boss shared his excitement on Instagram after Ronaldo followed him on Instagram in 2017. It was speculated that the legendary footballer followed Davido after he intentionally gave a shout-out to him (Ronaldo) in his 2017 hit song 'Fall'.
