A fire incident has occurred at Agbeni Market in Ibadan.
Sources revealed that the fire began in the early hours of Sunday morning around 4:30 am.
Yemi Akinyemi, the General Manager of Oyo State Fire Service confirmed the news when contacted.
He stated that his agency received a distress call at 4:37 am from Sunday Ogundele, the security officer at Access Bank, reporting that the Agbeni market was on fire.
"Our men are still battling with the job, we are grateful to the Central Bank of Nigeria that allowed us to use their water supply. Everything is under control.
"They are still going to CBN to replenish," he confirmed.
