Bus drivers, Touts and agents of the Lagos State Task Force clashed in Mile 2, Lagos, on Tuesday morning resulting in the loss of lives (figures yet unknown).
The clash, which started early Tuesday morning, quickly turned into a chaotic scene. Barricades and burning tyres were spotted in the neighbourhood.
According to eyewitnesses, the conflict began when task force officials sought to police traffic laws in the area.
According to reports, the scene became out of control, with both sides engaging in physical altercations.
Sadly, some lives have been lost. The deceased's identities have not yet been revealed as well.
Residents have been warned to avoid the area until the problem has been thoroughly resolved.
Traffic congestion has been reported in the area, and commuters are advised to seek alternate routes.
