Skit maker Mr Macaroni has slammed Atiku Abubakar for deleting his Facebook and Twitter posts condemning the killing of Deborah, the student accused of blasphemy in Sokoto State.
Recall it was earlier reported that the posts were deleted shortly after the presidential candidate was threatened with votes ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
In his tweet, Mr Macaroni stated that Atiku's actions demonstrate that politicians do not care about the people. He went on to say that politicians only play to the gallery to get votes.
"Atiku deleting the tweet condemning the gruesome murder of Deborah shows what we have been preaching this whole election season.
"Politicians don’t care for the people. They only play to the gallery when seeking for our votes. The people must see beyond these gimmicks…", the comedian wrote.
