The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has secured a warrant to arrest Diezani Alison Madueke over allegations of corruption.
The warrant was granted by a Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday.
The warrant which was granted by Justice Bolaji Olajuwon followed oral application entered by the counsel to the EFCC, Farouk Abdullah.
Abdullahi said the warrant will ensure that all security operatives including INTERPOL produce Diezani before court.
This is not the first time a warrant has been granted to arrest Diezani who fled the country to the UK since 2015.
Diezani Alison Madueke was a Minister of Petroleum Resources during the administration of former president, Gudluck Ebele Jonathan.
The EFCC had secured series of properties owned by the former minister as forfeiture granted by court in convicted cases of corruption leveled against her.
