Microsoft video gaming brand, Xbox has announced that the popular Disney plus 30-day trial has returned to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for the launch of Marvel's new Disney plus show Loki, giving members a free month of access to the streaming service.
Product Marketing Manager, Xbox Game Pass, Adam Harris on Wednesday said “Ultimate members will once again be able to enjoy series, movies, and Originals, including the premiere of Marvel Studios’ “Loki” on June 9, with a new 30-day trial to Disney plus via Perks,”
Harris stated that this perk will be claimable until September 30th, so it’ll basically be up for grabs throughout the entire summer.
“Whether you claimed the previous Disney+ Perk or not, Ultimate members who do not currently have an active Disney+ subscription will be eligible to claim the 30-day subscription trial through the Perks Gallery on their Xbox console, on the Xbox app for Windows PC, or through the Xbox Game Pass mobile app on iOS and Android. Once the Perk is claimed, members will be directed to the Disney+ site to activate their subscription, and members can claim and activate the trial now until September 30.”
As per the Xbox Wire, the free month for the popular streaming service can be claimed by both new subscribers to the Ultimate tier and those who nabbed the freebie when it was last offered back in November, although the offer can only be applied to a brand new Disney Plus account.
The offer comes right in time for the launch of the latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Tom Hiddleston’s Loki returns in his own series, with a new episode releasing weekly on the service from today.
Later this month, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can also look forward to picking up Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, which lands on the service via EA Play from June 24.
