DJ Cuppy 'Tired Of People Telling Her How To Live Her Life'

DJ Cuppy 'Tired Of People Telling Her How To Live Her Life'

Female Disc Jockey and singer, Cuppy says it's high time she stopped minding what people say and live her life the way she so pleases.

Speaking in a video shared on her Instagram page, Cuppy said she has got series of comments from people telling her what to do and what not to.

The "Gelato" crooner while narrating how someone complained about her wig, stated that she has got to a point where she has to "lock up" because she is fed of such comments

“I have come to a point where I’m like, it’s time to lock up because I’m tired of people telling me what I should do and what I shouldn’t do…Someone tweeted, Cuppy you’re too rich to be wearing the wigs you wear,” she said.

“I’m like you know what, I’m sorry, I’m a human being and I get to do whatever I want, you know why? cos It’s my life.”

Meanwhile, Cuppy, who happens to be the second daughter of popular business magnate Femi Otedola recently said the pressure against her in the cause of carrying out her duty is usually much in Nigeria.

According to her, things are different abroad, but still challenging because she is “not just a female but I’m a female of colour”

She stated that people have overtime watered down her hardwork, based on the family she comes from.

“I think the narrative is constantly changing. As for me, it depends on where I am. Being a female DJ back where I’m from in Nigeria is very challenging because you often feel like there’s a lot of pressure working against you.
