DJ Cuppy, Zlatan Now On Good Terms [Video]

Nigerian female disc jockey Florence Otedola a.k.a. DJ Cuppy and rapper Zlatan Ibile have finally squashed their beef which has been going on for a while now.

On Sunday, DJ Cuppy surprised Zlatan on stage during a show in London. Upon sighting the DJ, Zlatan ran towards her and they both hugged and performed their hit song 'Gelato' together.

Sharing the development on Twitter, DJ Cuppy said Zlatan was unaware of her surprise. She also added that she made the move because life is too short to have issues with people.

She wrote, "Life is too short…@Zlatan_Ibile decided to surprise @zlataN_Ibile on stage at the London show."

Earlier this year, Cuppy had cried out on Twitter, wondering why the rapper blocked her on WhatsApp and Instagram despite working on a single, 'Gelato' together.

When asked what transpired during a feature on Soundcity, Zlatan denied knowing who Cuppy is. It was at that point Davido’s Logistic Manager, Isreal Afeare decided to wade into the feud.

He accused Cuppy of refusing to pay Zlatan for the hit collabo they did and also took the rapper for her fundraising in Abuja but didn’t cater for his accommodation despite raising billions of naira. Afeare then hailed Zlatan for ‘flushing out a full fake friend like Cuppy.’

In retaliation, Afeare was slammed with a lawsuit for defamation of character and was asked to retract his statement by apologising to the DJ.

In his apology, Afeare stated that his allegations were merely hearsay.
