'Doctor Bello', 'Oloibiri' Coming To Netflix This April

Nollywood films Doctor Bello and Oloibiri have been unveiled among the titles to be made available for streaming on Netflix in April 2021.

Both movies are critically-acclaimed titles and will be available exclusively on the streaming platform on the 16th and 21st of April respectively.

Doctor Bello (released in 2013) is directed by Tony Abulu and stars Isaiah Washington, Vivica A. Fox, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Genevieve Nnaji, and Justus Esiri.

It follows the story of Dr. Durant (Washington), a doctor based in the United States who decides to take a potion from Dr. Bello (Jean-Louis), a Nigerian traditional healer, in a bid to save his patient's life.

Dr. Bello is arrested for refusing to disclose the source of the potion. He falls critically ill in detention and Durant embarks on a trip to Nigeria to find the source of the potion, only to find his destiny.

Oloibiri (2015) is an action thriller from Curtis Graham. Starring Olu Jacobs and Richard Mofe-Damijo, it tells the story of how government agencies and oil companies exploited the newly-discovered oil in the historic Oloibiri town.
