A hospital was attacked on Tuesday in Kabul, capital of Afghanistan, by gunmen, causing an official of the government and a doctor to flee the premises.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, Marwa Amini, said, “Our special forces are in the area.”
A doctor, a pediatrician, who fled the hospital said that a loud explosion could be heard at the hospital entrance.
The doctor who chose to speak under the condition of anonymity said, “The hospital was full of patients and doctors; there was total panic inside."
