This was disclosed by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Charles Akpan, adding that this is an invite to journalists on Thursday.

The medical workers had expressed lack of confidence in the Memorandum of Action earlier signed with the FG and this led to the breakdown of the agreement.

The union, after its executive meeting, accused the Federal Government of insincerity and dismissed the MOA, describing it as a plot by the government to hold back the NARD.

But Ngige insisted that the Federal Government had not only substantially met the seven-point demand of the NARD, “it has also demonstrated transparency in their implementation.’’
