Dollar To Naira Exchange Rate Today: ‘Emefiele Getting Richer’ - Adeyanju

Former New Media Director of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Deji Adeyanju, has mocked the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele.
According to Adeyanju, Emefiele is “getting richer” while the Dollar to Naira exchange rate continues to be unfavourable to Nigerians.

“$1 is now N580. Emefiele and co are getting richer,” Adeyanju wrote on his verified Facebook page on Monday morning.

In another update some few minutes later — via his known Twitter handle, Adeyanju said that while Buhari can be spared and not blamed for the Naira woes, he cannot be completely absolved because he is “keeping clueless Emefiele in office”.

“We can’t blame Buhari for this dollar thing because he’s not the Governor of Central Bank but we must blame him for keeping clueless Emefiele in office. The more worthless the Naira becomes, the richer Emefiele and co become. That’s why he is making all the anti people policies,” the social commentator said.
