Don Davis: Four Deeper Life High School Staff Jailed

Don Davis Archibong, the 11-year-old who was allegedly molested at Deeper Life High school may be on the road to getting justice.

In a recent development, Deborah Okezie, the mother of Don Davies revealed that the court has remanded four persons involved in the case in prison custody.

AllNews Nigeria earlier reported how Don Davis was allegedly assaulted by a teacher and some senior students at the institution.

The victim allegedly described how students in his dormitory sexually abused him by placing their hands in his anus when others were sleeping.

He claimed the two bullies threatened to kill him if he told anybody about the incident at school.

Deborah Okezie, Archibong’s mother, had gone public to say that her child had been reportedly assaulted and abused at school, and that despite the school authorities receiving complaints, nothing had been done about it.

They were all accused of involvement in the molestation, starvation, and sexual abuse of a JSS1 student of the institution, Don Davis.

Giving an update on her Facebook page, Okezie said the court remanded the Principal of the school, vice-principal, housemasters, and one other person.

She also disclosed that the judge ruled that the two accused minors should be tried in a Juvenile Family Court.

“All the suspects were arraigned afresh at the State High Court 7 Uyo and were asked to be remanded in the prison custody with stiff bail conditions. So, the five of them, the Principal Ndidi Solomon, the Vice Principal, the wicked Housemasters, Akpan, and others apart from the two minors were ordered to be detained in the prison custody until they met their bail conditions.

“Their lawyers were running up and down and cold caught all of them when the Judge gave the ruling.

“The matter has just begun, with a different tone of music.” she wrote.
