Don Jazzy Addresses Rumours Of Staying In Rented Apartment,

Mavin boss Don Jazzy isn't fazed about whether he is living in a rented apartment or not, as he recently shared in a chat with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

While speaking with the popular show host, Don Jazzy (real name Michael Collins Ajereh) addressed rumours of him being broke, his love for real estate, and staying in a rented apartment.

Ebuka congratulated the music producer on his recent move to his new house and asked him why he made the decision to show off the property on social media.

Don Jazzy's response: "I have several houses but this one I like more. Besides, I already saw movement around the house in the morning. I didn't want to go and report the story the way I won't like. Because I have been staying there for like a month or two.

"As I saw people moving around in the morning with cameras and by evening I had not seen any news, I just said lemme kuku post my house jeje before they will come and talk one long story. I don't want wahala."

When asked if he'd ever heard about the stories about him staying in a rented house, Don Jazzy stated that they weren't even rumours and that they weren't something he was hiding.

"I'm one of those people who are big on... you can't use house to buga me. I have a lot of investments with like N300 million to N400 million than to use it for a house. Business-wise I have a lot of investments that money is going to do better than buying a house.

"I'm not one of those people who care about the 'do you have a house' conversation. Yes, I moved from a rented house to my new house."

He added that he was not bothered about the rumours that he could not afford to purchase a house because he was broke. 

"I don't understand. So what if I'm broke? So what? Na you dey feed me abi I don beg you for food?"

Talking about investments, the music mogul revealed that he has about five properties in Lagos alone, adding that when he is through with music (after making all the money he can), he would invest more in real estate and Bitcoin on a larger scale.
