'Don't Follow Buhari Like Mumu' - Eedris Abdulkareem To Osin

US President Donald Trump (C) shares a laugh with Guinea's President Alpha Conde (L), the Vice President of Nigeria Yemi Osinbajo (R) and other African leaders as they arrive to pose for a family photo with participants of the G7 summit during the Summit of the Heads of State and of Government of the G7, the group of most industrialized economies, plus the European Union, on May 27, 2017 in Taormina, Sicily (Photo Credit: STEPHANE DE SAKUTIN/AFP via Getty Images)

US President, Donald Trump on Thursday conceded that Joe Biden would become the next president this month, and Nigerian singer, Eedris Abdulkareem capitalised on the chaos in America to criticise Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, his country's Vice-President.

Recall that Mike Pence, Vice President of the United States had defied President Trump’s initial call to overturn his loss in the November 2020 election.

Trump attacked Pence on Twitter after the vice president announced he lacked the power to throw out Electoral College votes cast for President-elect, Biden.

Trump had tweeted, 'Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done.'

Following a day of violent pro-Trump demonstrations on Wednesday, where some protesters stormed Washington D.C.’s Capitol buildings, Trump's lieutenant condemned the riot that left five dead, calling it a “dark day."

Reacting to Pence's stance as it concerns the US commotion, Abdulkareem, who has been ever-critical of the Muhammadu Buhari administration praised the 61-year-old while advising Prof. Osinbajo to take a cue from the American politician.

He wrote on his verified Instagram page on Thursday: "I hope VP Osinbajo can see Mike Pence.

"This is what it means to be a Vice-President.

"It is not everytime you follow like mumu behind."
