Donald Trump Says He Expects To Be Arrested, Calls For Prote

Former United States President Donald Trump said on Saturday that he expects to be arrested on Tuesday.

Trump said, without providing evidence, that "illegal leaks" from the Manhattan district attorney's office indicated that he would be arrested.

He did not say what the charges would be.

The former President also called on his supporters to protest.

"Protest, take our nation back!", he added.

Trump is also confronting a criminal probe in Georgia over efforts to overturn the 2020 results in that state.

He has said he will make a bid to return to the White House in the 2024 US presidential election.
