Famous rapper Kanye West held a listening party for his new album Donda on Thursday night and it was packed with people who paid rapt attention to the new project.
Kanye's 10th studio album is named after his mother, Donda West, who died after plastic surgery complications in 2007. She was 58.
Taking place at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, the listening party for Donda had some big names in attendance, including Rick Ross, Khloe Kardashian, and Kanye's estranged wife Kim Kardashian (who was accompanied by her children).

The sold-out event was live-streamed on Apple Music with Kanye choosing to let his music do the talking as those in attendance hung on to every word of the production. They applauded at the end of each song on the album.
Donda will be released today and has gospel themes, hip-hop vibes, auto-tune vocals, a song in which Kanye's friend and mentor Jay-Z is featured, and recorded speeches by Donda West.

After the last song of Donda finished playing, Kanye walked to the end zone area, took a look at the crowd, and calmly made his exit as attendees cheered for him.
Kanye's latest album is a follow-up to his last project, Jesus is King, which clinched a Grammy award for Best Contemporary Christian Album.
