Borussia Dortmund have been able to tie down Youssufa Moukoko till 2026 after the 18-year-old signed a deal which puts him at Signal Iduna Park for 2 years.
The young striker who emerged from Dortmund's youth system has been courted by several European clubs with Barcelona leading the race.
He has scored 11 goals in the Bundesliga and is the youngest striker to ever break the 10-goal mark. He was also part of the German national team at Qatar 2022.
With his former deal set to expire in the summer of 2023, several clubs were on red alert.
Dortmund have successful fend off any suitors with a 100k-euro-a-week deal and for now, will keep him in Germany till 2026.
After signing the deal, Moukoko said, "It's no secret that I feel good at BVB. I played in the youth teams, took my first steps in professional football here and now I'm ready to take the next step in my development together with the club.
