Davido: Wizkid Ignored Me But I'm Cool With Him

Nigerian music star Davido has recounted how he congratulated Wizkid on the release of his album "Made In Lagos" but got ignored.

AllNews reports that several celebrities and fans took to their Twitter handles to congratulate Wizkid on the release of his album, some of which he responded to.

Davido also joined the league by congratulating star boy, but never got any response.

However, speaking with Ndani TV, the "Risky" hit maker said he never expected his colleague to reply his congratulatory message, even though they are cool with each other.

Asked why he made the post, Davido said: “I just did it and did not think about it.

“I can post anything I want but Wizkid never responded. I was not hoping he would respond but I’m cool with him.

“I have his number but I’ve never tried calling him.

While speaking on a possible collaboration with him, Davido said “I and Wizkid used to be friends back then but we never got to sing at the studio together.”

Although Davido and Wizkid seem to be cool with each other, it is safe to say that their fans have always portrayed them as enemies as they are always at rifts in the social media community.

They go as far as comparing their music efforts and success, thereby making it seem they are perpetual enemies of each other.
