Dwayne Johnson's 'Young Rock' Series Premieres Tomorrow

Young Rock, an American series focusing on Dwayne Johnson's life premieres on NBC tomorrow, February 16, 2021.

Unarguably one of the most popular names in Hollywood nowadays, Dwayne Johnson is a wrestler-turned-actor whose rise to fame is a story worth telling.

The megastar shared the news of the premiere of the forthcoming series on his Twitter page on Tuesday, unable to contain his excitement as he said that the wait was over.

 

Young Rock will delve into Johnson's life; from childhood to his troubled teenage years, and all the way through to his career. It is created by Nahnatchka Khan it was given a straight-to-series order by NBC on January 11, 2020.

The series stars Adrian GroulxBradley ConstantUli Latikefu, Stacey LeiluaJohn Tui, amongst others.

Dwayne Johnson made a name for himself wrestling for the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, later changed to WWE) where he was often called 'The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment' and 'The People's Champion'. 

Since he made the transition to acting, his movies have earned more than $10. 5 billion, making him one of the highest-grossing actors in the world.

Johnson is considered to be one of the greatest wrestling superstars of all time and has been consistently ranked as one of Hollywood's highest-paid actors.
