An early morning inferno has razed Art Deco Building, a furniture showroom which is located at Akindeko Market in the Alekuwodo area of Osogbo on Thursday.
It was learned that the fire started in the early hours of Thursday around 1 am and as of time of filing this report the building was still engulfed in flames.
The fire has also spread to the two-storey building close to the Art Deco showroom.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
However, emergency responders are at the scene said that efforts were being made to quench the fire.
Sources said the inferno was caused by power surge which immediately spread throughout the building.
