A magnitude 5.6 earthquake shook the area around Bosnia-Herzegovina, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said on Friday.
The EMSC claimed that in the quake, one person was killed and several injured after the quake hit southern Bosnia followed by a series of smaller aftershocks.
A 27-year-old woman was killed and others were injured when a boulder crashed down a hill and struck a house in Stolac.
Also, a hospital in nearby Mostar reportedly admitted several people with lighter injuries from the area.
The Middle East Monitor said the quake was felt across Bosnia and in neighbouring countries, and that the quake measured 6.0 in magnitude and struck at a depth of 2 km (1.2 miles).
