Earthquake: Iraq To Send 90,000 Tons Of Fuel To Turkey, Syri

Iraq will provide high-sulfur fuel to Turkey and Syria following the earthquakes.

The countries were hit by the quakes on February 6, a week ago.

A statement by the Iraq government said on Wednesday that it will send 30,000 tons of fuel to Türkiye and 60,000 tons to Syria.

The deadly quakes damaged Turkey's energy infrastructure and major port in Iskenderun.

Severe damage has also been inflicted on electricity and natural gas transmission and distribution lines.

Over 35,000 people have been killed in the quakes, as thousands have also been injured, and expected to rise due to many others haven't been seen as rescue workers continue their works.
