Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki has taken to his social media page to share details of his meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Governor who recently left the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) seems to be inviting suspicions after pictures of his meeting with President Buhari surfaced on social media despite decamping to the main opposition.
Obaseki who took to his known Twitter page to clear the air on his meeting with President Buhari said that the relationship he shares with the President is that of a father a son relationship
He further revealed that he and the president discussed development issues affecting the people of Edo state and Nigeria at large, and measures to manage the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
"My relationship with President @MBuhari is that of a father and son. I was on a zoom meeting with the President, during which we engaged on development issues affecting Edo people and Nigerians. We also discussed measures to manage the spread of #COVID19," Obaseki's tweet read.
