EFCC Arrests 32 Suspected Yahoo Boys In Lagos (Names &Photos

The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) Lagos State chapter on Monday disclosed that its agents arrested about 32 persons for their alleged involvement in internet fraud, known as Yahoo.

According to the EFCC operatives, the suspects were arrested during an early morning operation at Plot 12, Road 2, Goodnews Estate, Sangotedo, Lekki-Ajah Way, and Chevyview Estate, Chevron Drive, Lekki, Lagos.

The Lagos Zonal office of the anti-graft agency said the suspects are identified to be Anthony Nicholas; Obabire Adebayo; Nwosu Ebuka; Obiora Udenta; Adeoye David; Oni Oluwabunmi Olasunkanmi; Oiseomaye Mike; Ifeanyi Godwin; and Obabire Tunde.

While others are Okafor Chibueze; Damilare Moronfayo; Micheal Makanjuola; Samuel Oyindamola; Haruna Mubarak Okiki; Opeyemi Hassan; Salami Junior; Yusuf Quadri; Adediran Waris; Idoko Shedrack; Andrew Agbai; Mercy Adedoyin; Olamide Mubarak; Damilare Babalola; Idris Mutairu; Adebiye Michael; Idris Adasofunjo; Rasak Adasofunjo; Olawaye Olayemi; Amodu Idris; Adeniyi Ahmed; Shittu Usman; and Oli Maduabuchi Charles.

This online news platform learned that the arrest was done following credible intelligence received by the EFCC about the alleged criminal activities of the suspects.

However, the 32 suspects were accused of defrauding unsuspecting members of the public of their money. The agency said, “They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.”
