The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has secured the conviction of seven for internet fraud.
The sentence which involved various jail terms was handed down to the seven by Justice Bayo Taiwo of the Oyo State High Court, sitting in Ibadan.
The convicts are Ogunyemi Olajide Temitope, Olamilekan Fafiolu Quadri, Olamilekan Paul Akinyemi and Ayegbusi Ayokunle.
Others are Taiwo Azeez Dolapo, Adeogun Usman Oluwatobiloba and Oyewumi Michael Oluwapelumi, jailed on August 8 and 9, 2022.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was established by the administration of President Olusegun Obasanjo 5onfighr against corruption and financial crimes.
