EFCC: 'Magu Should Be Handcuffed Like Ordinary Nigerians'- S

Nigerian singer and music producer Samuel Oguachuba a.k.a Samklef has taken swipes at the embattled acting chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Ibrahim Magu who was suspended over fraud allegations.

Recall AllNews had reported how Magu spent Monday night in a police cell at the Force Criminal Investigation Department Headquarters in Area 10, Garki, Abuja, after he was quizzed for about six hours by a Presidential panel, chaired by a former President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Ayo Salami.

The panel was constituted by President Muhammadu Buhari to probe various allegations levelled against Magu following a petition by the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, and the Department of State Service (DSS).

On Tuesday, Magu was suspended by President Buhari and while reacting to it, Samklef said the chairman deserves same judgement passed on common Nigerians.

The music star called for his hands to be handcuffed, just as he made reference to politicians who embezzle public funds.

“We don’t just want hear that Magu was suspended we want to see his mugshot and handcuffs on his hands... we want equal justice. Ordinary Nigerians will steal Garry una go kill am. When politicians go steal billions una go say una suspend am... Abi how una see am ?” he tweeted.
