A mild drama ensued during the Presidential Panel Probe of the suspended acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFFC) Ibrahim Magu.
The panel led by Ayo Salami ordered some lawyers out of the session on Monday shortly after they were introduced.
The drama began when Wahab Shittu, Magu's regular lawyer at the panel stood up to introduce Zainab Abiola and Aliyu Lemu as members of the legal team.

However, Salami interrupted his introduction and insisted that only Shittu would be allowed to defend Magu.
It will be recalled that Magu's trial started after he was accused by Abubakar Malami, attorney-general of the federation, of “grave malfeasance”.
However, Magu who maintained innocence, explained that forces opposed to his efforts in the fight against corruption are after him.
Buhari had in 2015 appointed Magu to head the commission. However, the Senate declined to confirm his appointment, making reference to a Department of State Security (DSS) report indicting him of corruption.
