EFCC
The Kano Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has secured the conviction of one Mukhtar Habib Ali.
Justice Zuwaira Yusuf of the Kano State High Court convicted him on a three-count charge of criminal breach of trust.
The convict was reported to have duped his customer under the pretext of buying him a car.
According to the EFCC, the sum of N2,800,000 was collected from the customer to purchase a Toyota Corolla from the United States since 2018 but the suspect diverted the money for his personal use.
