Egbewole Congratulates 10 UNILORIN First-Class Law School Gr

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), Prof. Wahab Egbewole, has hailed 10 students of the institution who graduated with first class at the recent bar final exams of the Nigerian Law School.

Egbewole made the commendation during a Zoom meeting on Thursday, noting that the students brought glory to their parents and the university.

The VC who expressed happiness over the achievement urged them to stay humble and avoid allowing it to get into their heads.

He further advised them to steer clear of whatever might stop them from reaching the height of law practice in their states and Nigeria at large.

This meeting was specifically called to congratulate you on your feat as very good representatives of the University of Ilorin at the Nigerian Law School by coming out with First Class.

“This is a no mean feat especially coming from me who also passed through that place and came out with a Second Class Upper,” he said.

Egebwole also encouraged the students to remain lifetime ambassadors of their school and allow their success to propel them to achieve more.

“We hope that after school, we can still benefit from your engagements," he added.

One of the First Class graduates, Moshood Abdulmajeed, thanked the VC on his colleagues' behalf, assuring him of taking pride in being associated with UNILORIN.

Abdulmajeed stated that they would remain good ambassadors of the university where they gained foundational knowledge to achieve the feat at the Nigerian Law School.

Other graduates include Mary Dada, who also emerged as the overall best student in the 2022 Bar Final Examinations; Khadijah Abdulwahab, Grace Awosusi and Tobiloba Joseph.
