Eid-El-Maulud: APC Begs Nigerians To Put An End To Looting, Arson Attacks

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has charged Nigerians to put an end to the looting that has become a trend in different states across the nation.

Making this call in its Eid-El-Maulud message,  APC urged Nigerians to support the ongoing reforms by the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.

The party also asked  Nigerians to resist individuals trying to sow the seed of discord by inciting violence and religious divides.

"Eid-El-Maulud: @OfficialAPCNg  Urge Nigerians To Support Ongoing Reforms We celebrate with Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-El-Maulud which commemorates the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

"In our public & private spaces, particularly the social media, we must resist individuals & interests that try to sow seeds of discord among us by inciting violence & dividing us along religious, ethnic & other perceived lines. Their intentions are unpatriotic & self-serving.

"From social inclusion, deregulation, anti-corruption, electoral reforms and now police reforms, the President @MBuhari -led government has not shied away from systemic and institutional reforms when necessary. We urge Nigerians to support these progressive reforms.

"As we progressively reform, rebuild and reposition the country, @OfficialAPCNg  calls on everyone to be circumspect, humane & measured in our utterances and actions. We renew our call for an end to the looting and arson attacks," a series of tweets by APC read.
