EKEDC Assures Customers Of Improved Service Delivery

EKEDC Assures Customers Of Improved Service Delivery

The Eko Electricity Distribution Company has engaged the residents of Festac Town, Satellite Town, Kirikiri Town, and Agboju areas in Lagos in a forum to discuss issues affecting power supply in a bid to improve service delivery.

The meeting took place recently in Festac Town as many CDAs’ executives and customers under the Festac business district of the distribution company were in attendance.

According to an official statement by Godwin Idemudia, DisCo’s Corporate Communications General Manager, the purpose of the forum was to engage customers and stakeholders across the EKEDC network in identifying challenges affecting electricity supply in each district.

He noted that the Chief Commercial Officer,  Rekhiat Momoh, accompanied by the General Manager of Technical Services, Oluwafemi Olaoye and Head of Network Maintenance,  Okpo Onyekwere represented Tinuade Sanda, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Eko DisCo.

According to Idemudia, Momoh thanked the customers for their support as she assured them of prompt resolution of complaints brought to the fore at the forum.

She further stressed the need to avoid vandalism and illegal connections, adding that these did not only affect supply but were also risky and hazardous to lives and properties.

Also, in order to improve its service the Chief Commercial Officer mentioned that EKEDC was planning to add an additional line to supply the Festac environs.

“Prior to our meeting in Festac, we have engaged our customers in Ijora, Ojo, Mushin, Ajah and Ibeju districts, and we are also going to organise such forum with the other districts in due time,” he added.
