Ekiti Governor Lauded For Releasing Funds To Rainstorm Victi

The Regent of Oke Ako in the Ikole Local Government area of Ekiti State, Princess Tinuade Ogunbiyi has lauded Governor Oyebanji for his prompt intervention in a situation that could have consumed the community.

In a letter of appreciation to Governor Oyebanji, the Regent said residents of the community who suffered losses due to a rainstorm which destroyed over 105 buildings, electricity facility among others, appreciated the Governor for approving and releasing the sum of 24 million naira for relief materials for victims of the rainstorm to cushion the effect of the damage and put the town back in shape.

Princess Tinuade who expressed her gratitude to the Governor on behalf of the good people of Oke Ako said Oyebanji is indeed the answer to Ekiti peoples’ prayers.

The Regent who recalled the Governor’s promise that he will not abandon them in the devastating condition said the Governor is really a man of his word and that Ekiti is lucky to have him at this time.

While praying for a successful tenure for the Governor, the Regent pledged the unalloyed support of her people to the Governor’s administration.
