As the Ekiti state gubernatorial election campaign ends, the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Biodun Oyebanji has told the Ekiti electorates that the future of the state is in their hands.
The deadline for campaigns according to guidelines by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was set for Thursday, June 16, 2022.
This message is coming even as the other political parties are also rounding up their gubernatorial campaigns.
"Thank you for the massive support and cooperation exhibited throughout our strategic engagements ahead of the forthcoming gubernatorial election on June 18.
“According to the set guidelines by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on electioneering process, the campaign train of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti has reached it’s destination and will therefore end all activities in that regard.
“The prospective future of our state lies in the decision you’re making to vote for continuity.
"I urge you all to go all out and exercise your civic duty, doing so lawfully and objectively.
"Together with you, let’s keep Ekiti working," the message concluded.
