The Government of Ekiti State has ordered both private and public schools in the state to resume the third term of the 2021/2022 academic session on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.
The order was given by the State Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, Bimpe Aderiye in a statement signed by the Information Officer of the Ministry, Abimbola Dada in Ado-Ekiti on Tuesday.
The commissioner urged parents and guardians of children and wards to make necessary arrangements for their resumption, so as to avoid delay in commencing schooling activities.
Aderiye emphasised that the government was committed to promoting the quality of education, which would be impossible without the support of stakeholders.
She added that the compliance of schools would be monitored by officials of the ministry.
