A woman aged 105 joined voters in the ongoing Ekiti gubernatorial election, exercising her right to vote while calling on the governor-elect to continue the fight against poverty.
Fayomi, who is reportedly one of the oldest voters on the ongoing exercise, made the call after voting at Polling Unit 6 Ward 2 in Ifaki-Ekiti.
She expressed joy at exercising her civic right and charged whoever emerges the winner to reduce the cost of living for citizens.
"I am happy today. I wanted to vote and I have just done that", she said.
