The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had announced the All progressive congress APC Party's candidate Abiodun Oyebanji as the winner of the Ekiti Governorship Election 2022

He polled a total of 187,057 votes, while second place Segun Oni of the Social democratic party, SDP garnered 82,211, and third place Bisi Kolawole polled  67,457.
