The results for the Ikole Local Government Area have been announced in the ongoing Ekiti governorship election, with the Social Democratic Party (SDP) beating others to take the majority of the votes.
INEC officials made the results known after the counting was done in Polling Unit 004 in Catholic Primary School in Oke, Ward 10.
SDP got 48 votes, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) polled 47, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) came in third with 12 votes.
