Ekweremadu: Former Deputy Senate President, Wife Arrested By

Senator Ike Ekweremadu and his wife Beatrice Nwanneka have been reportedly arrested by the UK police for human trafficking and organ harvesting.

According to reports, the development was announced on Thursday shortly after the couple was apprehended. They will be arraigned at Uxbridge before a magistrate, according to a statement from the Metropolitan Police.

Authorities in the United Kingdom disclosed that Ekweremadu and his wife brought in a child with the intent to harvest her organs.

The child has now been placed under the protection of the UK government.

The suspects were named in a report by Daily Mail, with the news outlet confirming that Ekweremadu (60) was the one arrested along with his wife.
