The governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai has expressed his condolences to the family of late Agwam Bajju, His Highness Nuhu Bature.
While condoling the people of Zonkwa and the deceased family, El-Rufa'i described the late Agwam Bajju as a man of peace and decency.
He added that the late Agwam Bajju, was a good man with cherished virtue.
This was disclosed on Sunday by the governor's Special Adviser on Media and Communication, Muyiwa Adekeye.
Adekeye said the governor described the late monarch as "a royal father who sought to build bridges as part of his resolute commitment to peace and harmony”.
The governor prayed for God's comfort on the family of the deceased and grant the late Agwam Bajju peaceful repose.
The monarch died on Saturday evening after a protracted illness.
The first-class monarch was the first Agwam Bajju of the Zangon Kataf Local Government Area in Kaduna state.
He was turbaned in 1995 when the Bajju chiefdom was created.
