Election Tribunal: We Must Occupy Abuja – Charly Boy To Ob

Charles Oputa, commonly known as Charly Boy, has called on supporters of Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi, known as "Obidients," to seize all streets in Abuja ahead of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal's decision today.

The veteran singer, TV personality, and campaigner disclosed this in a social media post, insisting that the move was vital to reclaim their mandate, which he claimed had been stolen.

“Anyhow, we must occupy all the streets of Abuja before 6 a.m. We will start with all the streets surrounding court house.

“Nobody is dying tomorrow, we know about their scare tactics. We must retrieve our stolen future from these criminals or be ready to face the most horrific hardship ever.

“There is nothing to fear, most of us are already down because of disseasoned criminals in power. We must show dem say our Mumu don Belleful us. Der fathers", he stated.

The tribunal is set to rule today on Obi and Atiku Abubakar's challenge against incumbent Bola Tinubu's declaration as the victor of the 2023 presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

The Nigeria Police Force has already warned against violent protests in advance of the tribunal's decision.
